Rebecca Trono, a native Vermonter, received her first Reiki attunement in 2004, and embarked on a personal journey of spiritual growth and development. She then received her second attunement in 2006, and proudly completed her Master/Teacher Level in 2009. Although she had been offering Reiki to humans since her first attunement, she began her healing work with animals in October of 2006, volunteering at the Chittenden County Humane Society, giving Reiki to the residents there. The staff, upon seeing the wonderful effects Reiki had on the animals, were soon receiving treatments from Rebecca as well, for the relief of stress on the job. Rebecca is thrilled to announce that she has resumed her volunteer work at CCHS, as well as volunteerin work at the Fletcher Allen Hospital, offering pre- and post-operative Reiki in the Surgical Unit. Most  recently, Rebecca studied Animal Reiki with Kathleen Prasad, co-author of Animal Reiki: Using Energy To Heal The Animals In Your Life, and co-founder of the Shelter Animal Reiki Association

Rebecca is also an animal communicator, accepting donations for communications in order to raise funds for emergency surgeries at the local veterinary emergency hospital. Her Reiki work and communication skills are featured in the book, Ask Your Animal, by author and world-reknown Animal Communicator, Marta Williams, with whom Rebecca studied. She is also featured in You Can Manifest: Law of Attraction Manifesting Techniques and more..., b author Kathleen Mackenzie. Although animal communication enhances her work, Rebecca prefers to focus on healing energies when treating animals.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, including her two best friends, Emmett and Buster.  Rebecca is insured by the American Council of Healthcare Professionals.
